Email hello@makebolt.com and a person will read it. We aim to reply within two business days. Most of what people write in about is answered below: restoring a purchase, cancelling, turning analytics off, and the one thing we cannot do, which is bring back a lost streak.
Your streak lives only on your phone
Monke Reset keeps no copy of your data on any server. That is what makes it private, and it means we cannot restore a lost streak, pledge, or reasons list, not for anyone, ever. Your data is gone if you:
- delete the app,
- use Settings › Reset progress,
- or lose, wipe, or replace your device without a device backup.
Subscriptions
Restore a purchase
Open Settings › Restore purchases while signed in to the Apple ID you bought with.
Cancel
Subscriptions are billed by Apple, not by us, so they are cancelled in iPhone Settings. Open Settings › your name › Subscriptions, choose Monke Reset, and tap Cancel. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds
Refunds are issued by Apple under Apple’s own policy, at reportaproblem.apple.com. If you hit a wall there, write to us.
Privacy controls
Turn off analytics
Settings › Share usage data stops all anonymous event collection immediately.
Erase everything
Settings › Reset progress, or delete the app.
Deleting the app removes everything it kept. See the Privacy Policy for what is and is not collected.
Before you write to us
- Close the app fully and reopen it.
- Restart your device.
- Update the app and your operating system to the latest version.
- Check that your device has free storage.
- For a missing subscription, try Restore purchases first.
What to include
- What happened, and what you expected instead.
- The steps that caused it.
- Your device model and operating-system version.
- The app version, from Settings › Version.
- A screenshot or recording, if it contains nothing you would rather keep private.
Never send passwords or payment details. Anything you email us is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. You do not have to tell us anything about your recovery to get help with a bug.
